I'm a sophomore in high school and i have a 4.0. I've only taken the ACT once and I made a 26. I take every honors class offered at my high school and was the valedictorian of my elementary school. I play volleyball and run track. I am on student council. My future career plan is in plastic surgrery. my question is do you think i could get accepted and possibly get a scholarship to the University of Tennessee?

There is a strong chance with the items you mentioned on admission. It is hard to say scholarship wise. If you really work hard, you could possibly get an athletic scholarship since it is a Division 1 school. You could receive a partial scholarship to a full ride with the works. It takes a lot of work during the off and on season on training to get one. You need to contact the coach and register with the NCAA database. I have a friend who's step daughter gave her oral commitment to a local private university to play volleyball for her. She has a combination scholarship of both academic and athelitc. they probably won't consider elementary school. as far as scholarships, there are merit based scholarships and financial need based scholarships. you should check with University of Tennessee to see what kinds of scholarships they have and what the criteria are to get them. The financial aid section of their website is a good place to start. you seem to have a good resume so far.
also, there are scholarships from outside your school. go to fastweb.com and set up an account. you can find scholarships that are targeted to people with your grades, activities, career goals, etc.
local organizations also give scholarships to students: churches, community centers etc.
there are many places to get money, you just need to take advantage of every opportunity.
as for getting admitted to University of Tennesse, check their admissions webpage and see what the stats were for the entering class last year. how do your grades/ test scores compare. also keep in mind that you have activites that are not reflected in the statistics.

Yes If you are Determined and trust in GOD you will get a scholarship to the University of Tenneessee
