I wouldn't argue, but it's fun to ask thought-provoking questions to test if they can still think or if they've been totally hoodwinked. I feel sorry for the really scared ones, but some people are so sure that they're right on everything it's futile to discuss anything.

Oh yes! Not only with religious but with anybody. My philosophy is, anything said is correct when seen from the speaker's angle. So, I just try to connect these angles, and then presto! You come to have a new perspective about things, even answers to complicated problems. I have come to a point when it is not anymore important for me to express my point unless others are open to listen to them yet, because it is only a waste of time.

Depends on the individual. Some are a complete lost cause. They only want you to listen to them and they refuse to listen to you. But some do finally realize that they have to listen to others if they want to truly be heard.

Yes, because religion takes away one's common sense and one's own personal beliefs, etc etc and substitute it with 'their's - of that religion.
Is that what conversion is about? And what religion do? Teach their view of the world, etc etc to converts...

Argument only happens, when the truth is wanted - and to honestly get towards what is truthful...

Pretty much. Most "religious" people are so stuck on being right that they're not tolerant of anyone's views but their own.

Yes, unless you have an absolutely foolproof argument.

Which I have yet to hear. From anyone.
