I'd have to say Jehovah's witness or Mormons. I've only met one JW in real life but on here they always seem to be on.

How about...........all Christians?? Lots of Catholics here, too.

There are places where Jehovah's Witnesses are extremely well represented in the general population. (My region is a good example.) Likewise, there are Mormon pockets in many places. Have you seen the Mormon Temple in Chevy Chase, MD? It dwarfs the surrounding buildings, looking like a glowing stone cloud as you travel around the DC Beltway.

As for what is represented here, we get what we get here, and all are welcome. If someone wants to state their belief, and it is almost unique, who are we to say that that is an over-representation. It is who's present in our moment here.

I've been here quite a few months, and I have no clue. It depends on what time of the day New York City is on the most. I'd say New Yorkers. Is this relevant to the question? Only a Buddhist would know.

I don't think there is any one religion over-represented here! Everyone should be allowed to come and ask and answer! The only problem I have with anyone is them being disrespectful or rude or demeaning!

I have observed in my year long participation on R &S,that all religious as well as non-religious thought, seem to receive plenty of air-time. James, the half-brother of Jesus, described religion like this: "Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world".

Sounds right, to me.

Christians in general...aren't Mormons and Jehovah's witnesses part of Christianity too?

As this is the R&S section and we don't discriminate....much....uhm.... a great deal...err very little......no there is no denomination of religion which is over represented.

Based on your logic, I'd say pagans or Hindus. I've only met one pagan in my life and I've never met anyone that's Hindu.

That's an interesting statement - and who have you met in unreal life?

I would say the religion that is over-represented is secularism/athiesm.

Dapper. Atheism isn't a religion. I think most of us would be insulted by the term religion.
