I was told that during basic training I will be able to come home for chirstmas, Ill be going in the hole as far as leave days, but if this is true, how long do they give you?

cool, I signed up for Army Reserves, so I guess its lookin pretty good! Oh, and do I have to wear the uniform while on Leave, Ive heard yes.

yes if you are army you will get exodus. and there are strings attached; you get two weeks, but you will be in the hole for awhile. and if you get stationed like overseas, more likely than not you will not be able to go home before you leave. i'm not being negative, i'm just telling you how it is so it won't be a surprise later. i don't know if you can opt out of taking it or not. maybe someone else can answer that.

yes hommie, i got leave from my AIT (ARMY 2nd phase) they took leave days but ull get em back theres a trick to it theyll tell ya. and my friends thats were in basic not even 2weeks in came back for 2weeks also. so yes ull retur for a bit- but no drug use cuz u will get a uranalis when u come back believe that, and even if u fail u still are in the ARMY. just loked down at and less rank and less money. have fun ull enjoy it trust me. oh and u only wear ur unifor goin and returning fro leave.... u dont have to the whole time ur on leave lol

As far as i know, no branch of service wears thier uniform while on liberty or leave. Unless you are attending something wear you would want to wear your dress uniform. And wow must be nice to get to come home for the holidays from basic, the Marines dont allow it
