October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Does this have pagan origins, based on the babylonian goddess with all the teats?

Almost everything we do is un-scriptural these days in life. It is not scriptural to drive a car, have a washing machine, have a dishwasher nor an electric or gas range. These and many other conveniences in our life were unheard of when the scriptures were written. Just because it is not there, that does not mean these things in our lives are wrong. It is un-scriptural to have church buildings, to have song books, to have them air conditioned and all of this paid for with the Lord's money. LOL

The money is our money and just taken up so that the leaders do not have to get out and round up money to pay the bills when they come nor when someone needs food because they are hungry.

The Bible is only a directive for our spiritual life, not the physical things we have today.

Look if you can do something for yourself that may help improve the quality of your life without harming someone else then I think God would be ok with it. The body and life you are given is a gift and you should take care of it in the best way you can. That includes taking a medical course for somethings including preventative measures.

You is a funny girl!!!!

Maybe it is pagan but Jesus never drove a car or used a telephone-computer-dishwasher.

But, I bet you aren't giving any of those things up.

Go for the healthy lifestyle, your bod will thank you by giving less trouble in the long run.

I'm outta here

Oh my god you heathen you! Anyone who gets a mammogram is a devil worshipper! Shame on you! I think it'd be best if we just got rid of the whole month of October altogether. Too much pagan-ness and devil worship happening!

I think you should have a monnogram of Jesus tattooed on your @rss!

The Jesus monnogram should have teets in honor of BCA Month

I don't think they had that technology and he is perfect so he probably wouldn't need one. Plus if you lived back then he could cure your breast cancer. All you would have to do is touch his outer garment.

Please do not forsake good health. I encourage all women to have mammograms. This is a health issue, not a religious one. If it must be viewed as one, God would want a clean (healthy) temple (body).
