Sometimes no answer is an answer. Sometimes we need to ask more than once. Even the apostle Paul had to pray three times for the Lord to remove something from him that he didnt want in his life. Finally the answer was something that he didnt want to hear but he accepted it. Many times we pray to God for what we want. But God may answer with what we need. It could sit right next to us. But we are either blind to it because we are still looking for what we want, or we just reject what God says we need and say that He wont answer my prayers.
