It is truly amazing that in this day and age there are so many persons who are still ignorant regarding the theory of evolution and what Darwin actually said.
Darwin never said that humans evolved from apes! that is not part of the theory.
If person would cease to listen to those who know even less than they do about subjects which both seem to know nothing about and will then begin to listen to educated individuals knowledgeable about the subject this ridiculousness might stop.

Go to the public library. Have the librarian assist you in locating a copy of Charles Darwin's, "The Origin of the Species". Read it!

It's because there were (and are) various species of apes. Also, they lived in family groups. If a few family groups migrated to a new area and, through evolution, became human, the other apes who were left behind did not evolve to the needs of that new habitat, therefore remaining apes. Take a biology class to learn more.

All apes, including humans, evolved from a proto-ape. Modern apes are our cousins, not our ancestors. Each of the modern apes adapted to a specific niche, but due to our tool use, we are destroying the environments of the other apes.

Apes and humans share a common ancestor, they are not on the same rung of the evolutionary tree. If you don't know or understand the difference, its an intellectual matter not a religious one.

We evolved from a common ancestor. Know what? I'm sorry, you're right, it's MUCH more logical that we came to be out of a pile of dust. I'm saved! Praise Jesus!
