"THE blasphemy against the Holy Spirit" in Matthew 12:31. In Matthew 12:31-32, the Pharisees, having witnessed irrefutable proof that Jesus was working miracles in the power of the Holy Spirit, claimed instead that the Lord was possessed by the demon "Beelzebub" (Matthew 12:24). Now notice that in Mark 3:30 Jesus is very specific about what exactly they did to commit "the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit."
This blasphemy has to do with someone accusing Jesus Christ of being demon-possessed instead of Spirit-filled. There are other ways to blaspheme the Holy Spirit, but this was "THE" unpardonable blasphemy. As a result, the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit cannot be duplicated today. Jesus Christ is not on earth. but seated at the right Hand of God. No one can witness Jesus Christ performing a miracle and then attribute that power to Satan instead of the Spirit.

Read the verse in context. Some were attributing the mighty works of Jesus to the Devil. So Jesus warned them that sins against the Son would be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes the Holy Spirit will not have forgiveness in this life or the next. Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is not when someone in ignorance attributes a work of God to the devil because it is strange to him. This is someone opposed to the Lord and mockingly and accusingly blasphemes with mal intent by saying he casts out demons with the power of Satan.

When the Holy Spirit has entered you, and you KNOW God, but still deny Him or try to lead others from Him. That to me is what blasphemy of the Holy Spirit means. Someone who has never known God can be forgiven for reviling Him, once their eyes are opened. Paul was forgiven for reviling Jesus, because he didn't know any better at the time. But if I, having truly known God, were to curse Him or deny him, then that would be blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

One has to have been saved and living for God, then for whatever reason turn against God, denying the works of the Holy Spirit and claiming that they are the works of Satan.

The holy spirit is the connection between you and god. To be blasphemisize the spiritual connection of one with god is like reaching out to someone who is hanging on a cliff and you reach for them and what? Is the connection lost?

Unforgiveable sins are following:
1. Worshipping any one other than God Almighty the creator
of Heavens and earth and every thing in between, whom
Jeus called Father, the God of Abraham, Moses and
Mohammad. Like worshipping Jesus as God, His mother
Mary, worshipping sun, moon etc.,
2. Making partners of God. Worshipping God as well as
the partners one makes. Like People of Mecca believed
in God but also worshipped the idol gods they made as
partners of God. In India people believe in God (Eishwar)
but they mostly worship their man made gods.
3. Denying that there is a God Almighty.
4. Denying that there will be no resurrection of humans
from their graves and denying of any accountability of
their actions in this life.
5. Denying about Heaven
6. Denying about Hell
7. Taking life of some innocent human being except killing
of a killer by the authorized law enforcers. No one else
can take law into their own hands.
8. Raping a child or a woman
9. Robing some one
These are the ones I can think of tonight without referring to
any book of Islam.

Everybody seems to have missed the point of what the references in the scriptures mean. Its not to deny Him or to not accept Him.
The unforgivable sin is this " To KNOW God, and reject Him". It is to ask Him for proof of His existence, to have him show you and once the confirmation has been received and understood, to stand up against Him, to reject his existence even with knowledge that was was received and to preach against Him.
Asking God to prove his existence is not blasphemous as long as you are asking Him to prove it in His own way, in complete humility, asking in innocence as a child. Matthew 7:7 says exactly that "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you" However if you ask and He grants you proof, you can't stand in the face of peril and deny Him or you are committing the unforgivable sin. I have prayed for that confirmation and I have received it in sacred confirmation. I can no longer deny that I know of Gods existence. I would meet my death, even unto torture, and would never deny my testimony.

I believe the unforgivable sin is the rejection of God's grace knowingly, by your freewill.
