I have noticed that the more expensive dual suspensions are usually air shock, not coil. But I also know that some people prefer a fox vanilla over a fox float. What are the pro's and cons of each?

Air shocks are lighter, and can be adjusted for different rider weights. But they are more progresive.

Coil shocks are plusher, but heavier. And you might need to change coils if the coil you get with the shock is for other rider's weight.

I had a Float RP3, and replaced it for a DHX 5.0 coil, and I prefer the coil feel.
