Have you every tried deep frying in your electric skillet? Did it work OK. My daughter is wanting to make doughnuts.

Donuts would probably be ok in it, just be ever so careful that it doesn't slosh and burn her! Is she old enough to be really careful? Don't fill more than half-full of oil!

Takes a little while for the oil to heat up but it works perfectly fine. I fry in mine all the time. I have made doughnuts in it too and it worked great.

Everythangs deep fried at the Doublewide !!!
and the electric skillet controls the oil temp,a plus!

That is not a good idea. The skillet is not deep enough. You and Your DAUGHTER, will get burnt from grease splatter. Go to the do-nut shop or use a deep fryer.

ya it will work just set the temp at 350 degrees and so be careful from the splatter of oil not to get burned!

Yes, its wonderful. The oil heats evenly and stays at temperature. Go for it.

it will work as long as the oil stays at the right temperature
