If I want to become an instrument of peace, what should I do?

If I want to dedicate my life to spreading peace and understanding, what would be the first step?

If you really want to do this, God will put you through training first. Perhaps conflict in daily life all around you to learn discernment, patience wisdom through hard knocks, looooong suffering, Hows your temperament? Dedication? Commitment? All of these things must be learned and earned through time. It wont just happen when you wake up tomorrow. This is a Noble choice for you to make. You just may need to go through some fire for the right temperament.

This is something that needs to drive you more than anything else.

....you can start with the Divine Mercy devotion. Instead of "cursing the darkness" and despairing over the evil in the world, this devotion looks to spread a message of mercy to all people.

It was started by the visions of a Polish Nun of Jesus himself, who wanted to reveal his mercy through this devotion. Her name was St. Faustina, at the turn of the last century (and what a century it was to be!). But she was canonized by John Paul II as the first saint of this century to spread a message of mercy to the modern world.

The message is simple, that God is immensely merciful - an incomprehensible abyss of mercy - and demands from us acts of mercy that can be in the form of prayer, words, or actions, from the simplest to the most demmanding.

spreading peace isnt as easy as it seems ( I wish it was )
but for some very strange reason ... some just dont want it
if you look back in history at others who have tried .. you will know what I mean
but please dont stop trying xxx
