It depends on your definition of bad. As far as calories go, they don't have any, so not bad there. Also, they're very low in sodium and are sugar free. However, they still contain acid and artificial sweeteners, so they should be enjoyed in moderation.

yeah, because they are acidic, which is bad for your teeth. it's especially bad if you sip at the drink for a long time instead of drinking it all at once, because the acid is in contact with your teeth longer.
also, artificial sweeteners (most diet sodas contain aspartame) are probably not the best for you.
i still drink diet over regular though, i just don't drink it very often.
