I don't know if it's possible to cover it all the way, but try a thick foundation, like MAC Cosmetics Studio Tech Line. It's meant to wear under studio lights, so it covers better. I would start with a concealer, then use a foundation and top with a powder. Go to a MAC store, they can help you get it right. If you go the day of the wedding and have them show you how to cover it, they'll do it for free.
Good luck!

Char,
there is something for that, but it's been so long since I heard of it I can't think of the name. While you are still looking, experiment with leg foundation -made to cover varicose veins. Also, try using regular foundation with a powder under it, then again over it, more foundation, and more powder until you like the results.

And best of all, learn to accept yourself for who you are. It's a lot of work to keep thinking your birthmark is not good enough to appeal to others, or that you are somehow less beautiful because of it. Anyone who rejects you because of a birthmark is the wrong person for you. That is a form of abuse. Think about it.

You are the only one who will notice at a wedding. They usually pay more attention to the bride. Blue (the cat) says get some of that Sheer Cover. It works for those models on TV. I really would not worry about it. The bride sure would be glad you showed up to take pictures regardless of a small birthmark. Good luck

There is a product called Covermark (they've got a website) that I used to cover a HUGE tattoo on my back when I got married 4 years ago. It worked like a charm. It also works for birthmarks :-D Fantastic Stuff!

To get rid of red scars and birthmarks, use yellow-based concealers. Apply a matt primer to the scars prior to using drier concealers with high pigment level to cope them up.

Couple of tones lighter than the skin is good. A concealer in the yellow/olive/orange tonal range does a great job counterpoising dark areas. For raised scars use a little darker shade of concealer as compared to your natural skin tone while lighter shade is for crenelated scars. Set with loose powder. To cache broken capillaries, you need a yellow-based concealer with a high pigment level and pointed fiber brush for precise application.

Applying Concealer Tips
1. Don't apply more than two coats of concealer at a time.

2. Use your concealer with a small fine tipped brush for best application.

4. For red scars and birthmarks, use yellow-based concealers.

5. Apply a matt primer to the scars before using drier concealers with high pigment level to cover them up.

Well, try some cover up makeup. Get your right skin tone, and reapply every two or three hours. If that does not work, leave it there! It's a BEAUTY mark! I want to emphasize that.

Short term, make an appointment with make-up expert at a salon or store.

Long term, make an appointment with doctor. It would probably be an easy thing to remove with laser etc, everyone has their pigments, sun spots and moles removed here (in Australia). Do it today and get it sorted out.

Get a concealer thats around your skin tone but one shade darker . Keep blending it in until it looks normal.

Or get a powder makeup like shear cover that's a powder foundation.

I wouldn't call something the size of a quarter on your neck that you're ashamed of a "beauty mark". Just use foundation or something.
