I'm not scared due to my religion. Sorry to bring religion into this if you're not into it but it keeps me not scared to die. For I think I'm going to be in a better place. There are a million things FAR WORSE in life than dying. For me, the only thing sad about dying is knowing that your family and friends will shed many tears over it. Depression can create pain that is far worse than dying for me.

Anyone who thinks death is the worst thing hasn't lived yet. Why should I be afraid? After I die, all my problems will be over. I'm more afraid of going to school on Monday without my project than dying on the way there.

I never was and of course I almost did quite a few times but then I realized I must be here for a reason so I search for that reason. I am afraid I will not fullfill my quest before I die. death is a something I do not fear only the end result of my life do I fear will be a waste to my god.

Death is the other side of Life, which is the other side of Death, which is the other side of Life, ad infinitum.... at least in the relative field where most of us hang out here on earth (in the world of duality/polarity). There's nothing to fear but fear itself (so said President Roosevelt, or was it President Truman????) The only way to transcend Death is to attain enlightenment. One of the best ways to attain enlightenment is to enter the Silence through dedicated meditation, whereby the ego-self (the false self) is revealed as an illusion. I am not afraid to die, but I don't want to suffer before I die.

Nope... It's not like I am ready to hurry it along but if it happens I am ok with that too...

Everybody is gonna die why worry about it when there are far more important things to be doing...

Not at all. Fear of death is what causes all the suffering in this world. I know without doubt that I'm eternal. Only egos fear death and that is the problem in this world. As a soul I know of my eternity (but most people deny their soul awareness) and instead cling to their egos.

No----Edge's answer is on my dad's headstone....he was a Lutheran minister.
Paul said it best.

Philippians 1:21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

I'm but a stranger here, Heaven is my home;

Earth is a desert drear, Heaven is my home.

Danger and sorrow stand Round me on every hand;

Heaven is my fatherland, Heaven is my home.
