I'm 17 and he's 31. I know that at my current age it wouldn't be a good choice, I wouldn't even approach him for any kind of relationship. But would you please specify at what age I could finally be ready for someone like him?

Any guy his age who would go for a girl your age (no matter how mature/cute/smart you may be) is only in it to make himself feel young again, and to play with you til' you're no longer *taboo*.

But if you're truly having REAL feelings for this guy, and he's not married/in a relationship, and you still feel that way when you're of age (I agree with the guy above, 21), then by all means go for it. But at 17, he's just not worth it. The only advantage would be that he could buy you alcohol. In which case I'd get the hell away from him even faster!

Well 18 is legal, so maybe 21, but if you want to be completely stress free, 25. Do be able to handle a relationship at that level I would say 25 is good. Just move on and find someone that is 17-18. You will have more fun that being with someone that is old enough to MARRY. ew.

I have known of relationships in which one of the parties is over twenty years older than his love object.So you see the issue is not just one of chronological age but of emotional maturity .If both of you were mature enough to comprehend what you are getting you self tothen it is a most pleasurabel experience.So focus on the emotional growth of the person instead of their years

Hence focus on the emotional growth of the person.

I have seen may dec relationshipswith larger ranges than the one we are taage is different from from;

Chronlogically age is different from maturity.While you may have a ,14 yearsdifferenekiiiiiiiiiii

while he is 14 years older, it is the emotional maturity that matters.There have been instances in which one of the couples is much older-20 years and above.However, if the parties want to be together and they are very mature emtionally,they stand a good chance of aking it.As to your question, you will know you are readywhen you have made the transition from crayons to lipstick,when you know the salad fork and its position on the table,and when you go out on a date but your mind is on the baby sitter.

Maybe when it's legal, 18. But even then I don't know if you would be mature enough. Move on girl, there are a lot of hot guys around your age, don't date an old fart. With the age difference he'll be in a rocking chair, and you'll want to be going out to party. Not a good idea.

This reminds me of hayden panettiere and milo ventimiglia.... If they're dating... she's 18 and he's I think 31? So, "whatever floats your boat", I guess. But I'd suggest waiting until you're at least 21.

Once you are an adult, knock yourself out. But, that's still pretty gross.
