Wouldn't holes help in making the ice melt faster? Does anyone know if any groups keep tract of this? I don't trust scientists to be making things worse by accident. Scientists should be held accountable for their research because they have been the cause of some animals going extinct in the past with their desire to study the poor things. You would think they would have known better. Anyway, does anyone know of any organizations that keep tract of the cumulative methods of research all the scientists are doing to the ice?

Worse than that they use drilling fluids that contaminate and pollute the ice. But for all we know they may have drilled down and opened up a geothermal hot spot that is now spewing out vast quantities of hot water that is what is really is melting the north pole now. What you gonna do run back to the lab and tell the head lab rat that you screwed up?
Oh no just poke some ice back in the hole whistle while you walk off and act like you didn't drill a hole there.

Not that many. There is still enough to keep red-herrings like this cool.
