When you go in for a consultation with a plastic surgeon, can you bargain the prices? Or are they set in stone? Is it possible if I purchase more procedures, can I get a better price for each? You know what I mean...Or no?

There are many elements that determine the price you are charged for plastic surgery - these will include your hospital stay (accomodation costs), your surgeons costs, your anaesthetists costs, insurance costs, and ancilliary costs like dressings and medicines.

Some procedures are too involved to be done together and some can work, so a lot depends on what it is that you want done. If there are procedures that can be done together, then it may be possible to reduce the costs.

Many groups do offer free initial consultations of one sort or the other, although most wil involve an intial assesment by a nurse rather than the surgeon himself - so many such visits wont result in a consultation that is able to answer these questions. However, if you contact the Landauer group you have a free intial telephone conversation with a qualified cosmetic surgeon, who should be able to give you a better initial idea, and then if its appropriate you can arrange to see one of their consultants who is best located and skilled to carry out the surgery you have asked for, after an assesment - although this bit will cost you no matter who you go through.

If you visit their website www.landauercosmeticsurgery.co.uk they list a phone number you can call to discuss what you want with one of their surgeons as a first step, and from someone who is better qualified to answer your questions in detail than I am! Which could save you a lot of time and money. Hope this helps.

your question is not specific.what exactly is your problem?i am sure you can negotiate fees with the plastic surgeon, especially if you feel you need several procedures.plastic surgery is not to be entered into lightly.the cost of surgery should not be the criteria for choosing a surgeon, his educational background, his training, his experience and his reputation should be you main concern.do your research, dont settle just for price.there are many horror stories about botched up plastic surgery, you dont want to end up as a statictic for messed up jobs.plastic surgery create miracles if you are in the hands of a licensed physician.good luck!

Go to different plastic surgeons and compare prices. Yes, you probably can get a better price for more than one surgery.

Have I got this right? You are looking for a BARGAIN on plastic surgery? You need to hold off until you've thought this through.

If I was looking into elective surgery, I really don't hink money would play too much of a factor in my decision on who I go to or what I get done.
I sure as hell would not want a "discount" procedure done if it involved my body and a knife.

You might be able to do that with some PS but they might not be the most reputable if they're willing to wheel and deal with you. Remember: you're pay for what you get.
