Not if it repairs the problems. Some people have great recoveries with no problems after the surgery. Some people continue to have problems throughout their life. Look at players in the NFL. Some never have problems again some keep having problems. I have 2 brothers that joined the Marines after having knee surgery. It depends on the severity of the damage. If the can pass the physical then they can join!

History of corrective surgery on knee ligaments is only disqualifying if it is unstable or symptomatic.

Not necessarily.

You will have to bring your surgical records and rehab records to MEPS with you.

They will then test the range of motion and strength of you knee.

If you successfully rehabbed your knee,

Then you will be allowed to enlist.

But you must have full extension and flextion of your repaired knee.
