Aspirin mask: Crush 4 - 6 plain, uncoated aspirin tablets and mix it w/ a little water to make mask. Or mix them with Queen Helene Mint Julep mask or aloe vera gel instead of water. Apply a thin layer where needed & let dry for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off w/ cool water.

For combination or sensitive skin:
Apply a thin layer of plain milk of magnesia, let it dry for 15-20 minutes, rinse off w/ cool water & a clean wash cloth. Plain milk of magnesia will absorb excess oil & temporarily tighten pores.

I'm pretty sure that if you take a hot tea bag and put it against the zit it helps. It does for me. Sometimes I rub VERY slowly with little pressure to just soften the zit a little more.

I used to use vasoline on my nose, but luckily my nose has been clear for a long time.
I slept with the vasoline on, and it only worked a little.

I've use crushed aspirin and lemon juice. This solution works slightly but I think the acid in the lemon juice can cause more irritation and redness so just crush the aspirin and add very little water to make a past and smooth on the stuff like a mask.

I've heard that saturating a cotton ball with visine & soaking it on the zit will help-haven't tried it yet, but don't poke, squeeze, or try to pop...that I KNOW for SURE!

Put some consealer or foundation on it. Toothpaste might make it worse, depending on it's condition. Toothpaste is an overnight remedy that will dry out the pimple making it pop faster. Also, don't pick at it.
