Does anyone speak icelandic who can help me??

Is "frægur piparsveinn" the correct way to write "renowned bachelor?"

I don't speak icelandic - but I found that phrase on a website. If you are learning to read Icelandic - perhaps you can figure out whether it is used here with the same meaning you intend - and then you may be correct.
