She has said "Do you want a spanking" for so many years, it is just a habit! If you are 13 or older, you are too big to spank and I am sure she knows this!

Probably, parents are so silly. Spanking is such an archaic and outdated practice. That's hardly the way to discipline your children. Kids deserve respect and dignity also. Parents should talk about the issue and tell you why they think what you did is wrong. Seriously, all spanking does is foster resentment in the child toward the parent. It won't stop the negative behavior it only makes the child feel that they should not get caught. Ugh... some people.

Probably it WOULD be better if they asked "do you NEED a spanking" rather than "do you WANT a spanking".
Do we "want to get a spanking"? I guess by our misbehavior we show that we do.
When dad takes over, it is more like "well, kid, you've earned yourself another whacking --- bare your bum and bend over.
Yes, even in the teens, when "deserved".
Does that "scare" me? Nah!! I know it is gonna HURT, but I also know they've never injured nor harmed me. Sure, it ain't easy, but just go ahead, bare, bend, and get it over with. [And get over the warm backside.]
And get over the "attitude" too, or you may need an attitude adjustment also.

ok as a newborn you are not getting to %. your punishment! You get to handle what your mom provides! additionally there are not rules against spanking, there are rules against newborn abuse~2 completely countless issues!! in case you be conscious of what you probably did incorrect and you desire to %. your guy or woman punishment why do no longer you get your head on straight away supply up being a brat and do what's asked of you!

It sounds like you don't ever actually get spanked, so in your case, I think your mom is hoping it will get you to obey. However, in my case, when my mom asked me that, it was a final warning and I knew that if I kept it up, I was going to get spanked.

Usually mothers use that line to make little kids behave, but if they still say that to their already grown-up kids, then I think that's just sort of weird, I mean, we already know it's not true so why do they still say that?

she may just say it out of force of habit. if she wanted to scare you, trust me, i am sure she could come up with something better than that...she knows you longer and better than most anyone else in your life, i am sure.
