What is his average finish this year? 23? And that was before Atlanta where he finished 34th.
Yeah, he is just a rookie... and rookies like Ragan have an average finish of 24.1 and Menard 26.5 (before Atlanta race where both finished above Montoya), but as you can see Montoya isn't leaps and bounds over the other rookies.... the real difference is Montoya's mouth and his *********. He thinks he is all that and until he can prove it on the track to the fans and other drivers, his fake delusions about himself are not going to make him very popular.
And he may not take out other drivers EVERY race, but he has done it enough times that other drivers and fans are afraid to be next to him. How many tires did he blow in Atlanta today?

I have no problems with him...he's just not my favorite.. I like Dale Jr, Clint Bowyer, Jeff Burton, Casey Mears, Carl Edwards and Martin Truax Jr... I'm looking forward to JPM next yr when he has alot more of open wheel guys out there giving Nascar a shot.. Juan has improved alot, and he will win the rookie of the yr probably...No, I'm not a Montoya hater. I really do not hate any driver..I just have a few that are not my favorites.

I Think Montoya has wrecked more cars than have wrecked on there own. But he was a good racer in his own race venue.

I HATE HIM!. Juan montoya is the perefect example of a pompus jack ***, hes a jerk. All he does is ***** and complain, and he takes out his OWN teammates/ Ie scott pruett. and then after dega he wrecked Reed.

I really like Montoya. People always claim he wrecks someone every race. When the last time he wrecked and took someone out? It's been a while; he's more in tune with his stock car now than when he first started, and he's becoming a great NASCAR racer.

Check this out. If you knew my bio, you would wonder why Im married to a TN country girl with passion for NASCAR. She got me into it. But, to answer your question, My wife told me yestarday which really made me think, She said "Its not NASCAR, its the fans that are behind in time" This after I complained about diversity and the future in NASCAR.

I like him, and I also think a lot of the claims that he constantly wrecks people are overblown. I really haven't seen too many more incidents involving him than I have with other drivers. Especially when you consider that he's a rookie in stock cars entirely.
He's done well this year, better than both of his more experienced teammates, and I think next year he'll do even better.
I respect the way he has taken on a new challenge with NASCAR to prove himself as an all around great racer.

He's OK, I guess. I just don't understand why the TV and Radio commercials about the "Superstars of NASCAR" mentions his name. He is a rookie and he has not done anything to substantiate him being called a superstar.
