It will, definitely. Someone told me that the reason so many people follow Al Gore's words against global warming (rather than those of the scientists who'd been making the same statements before the ex-vice-president.), is because he's a "political figure" and people need a "hero" to follow through with these sorts of things.

I totally disagree with that idea. While Al Gore MAY be a prominent figure and MAY know what he's talking about in "Inconvenient Truth", it's really depressing that people didn't suddenly decide to help the environment until after he got all gung-ho and announced his theories. I mean, seriously, that movie (In my opinion) was just him trying to make himself appear to be an environmental savior, while surreptitiously tooting his own horn the entire two hours. While I watched that film in an environmental class last year, I found myself to be the only student chuckling vehemently at his "original" views.

Al Gore, and all his little "environmentalist" cult followers need to wake-up and smell the mulch. Here, a lot of us were trying to support the environment since we were young-uns and yet, it suddenly wasn't a "cool thing to do" until Al Gore popped up.

I have a lot of bitter feelings for the guy.

Al Gore DOES know what he's talking about when it comes to global warming. He's been studying it for many years and he's hit the nail on the head. The problem is that the morons don't want to believe him because of the presidential election of 2000.

You can't help the earth much if you eat meat (which he does..) . Hence the reason most environmentalists are veggie/vegan.

Al Gore has done one thing by telling people about global warming, but he doesn't seem serious about it at all.
