I have a pain on my lower left side, under my ribs. It feels like if you were to have a huge bruise and someone was pushing on it, i did absolutely nothing to strain anything. What so you think it could be, i know i should go to the doctors, but its late and the only thing open is the hospital and i dont feel like waiting that long if its a little bit of gas (lol) Please any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!! Thanks!!!

Yes, sometimes gas can get trapped around the rib area. I had it happen to me one time many years ago. This could also be related to a condition called costochondritis which is an inflammation of the cartillage around the ribcage.
I would recommend talking to your doctor's assistant next week to see what they say.
