Two day ago I went to the hospital and the doctor asked me to take a regular blood test due to an stomach pain I have right now and when I saw the needle I closed my eyes, but when I opened them again, I saw a red spot in the finger of the girl who took my blood test. Now I’m really scared again because I think it was blood. I got so scared that I while I was waiting for the results; I had to ask her if it was blood but she said it was only ink from a red marker. I didn’t see the red spot again because she was wearing gloves but she wasn’t wearing them when she took my blood. This idea I have is probably a bit sick but I believe that the girl could have used her blood to infect me with HIV. Is this possible? Can somebody do something like that? Should I take another blood test in three months time? Or am I just being Paranoid???

F**k worrying about being paranoid-get it checked out before you die! Got a girlfriend? Using protection? If not, you'll be sharing a ward together.
And if she has done it, then... well, that is up to you-I know what I would do.

Wow....to accuse someone of that is harsh. Especially if you do not know the person. I work in a clinical lab and we are very well tested and are trying to protect ourselves from things like that not infect people. True, she should have been wearing gloves, but some older lab technologists do not. You are paranoid. If it bothers you that bad, have a HIV test done somewhere else.

Your paranoid. Do you know her from somewhere? Did you used to pick on her in first grade? If not, I doubt she would do something like that. People are asses, but I don't think people would fricken give you hiv for no reason. haha

lab tech are well tested, vaccinated and educated in the transmission of diseases. The hospital will not put it patients in danger.

Your fears are unfounded. Relax
