there is no direct correlation between size and strength.

increased strength is a function of using progressive resistance while increased muscle size is a function of both progressive resistance and a hypocaloric diet.

a person can drastically increase strength levels with out a significant increases in muscle mass. power lifters do this routinely to stay in the same weight class. conversely there can be significant increases in muscle mass with out a significant increase in strength levels as is seen with many novice users of steroids, etc.

OK its to do with muscle mass and density big muscles that look unreal are basically either been ripped by over working them with big weights or steroid's either way the term is "ripped" and that means the muscle tears and grows scar tissue thus getting rapid muscle growth but because this scar tissue isn't muscle it doesn't make that person stronger, I've watched many strongest man comp and a guy with arms and legs half the size of the next guy will genially do better, mainly because of weight and because of the restrictive scar tissue, so no bigger muscles didn't mean more strength there's a link below with lots of advice on body building and muscles (look at top pic and lower pic the one lower is one from 30+ years look at the muscle and then compare to above your see he looks more stronger just because there pure muscle and not being ripped but ill leave all that to you but i hope all the above has been relay help full

No big muscle mean I am a clown look at me I love myself. Mark my words strength is from the mind lots of will and a big heart. Go and get a job moving pianos learn from a master and he will show and teach you strength for sure.

The short answer is yes, as a very broad rule of thumb. But you can be very strong without massive muscles, like Bruce Lee for instance. However bodybuilders look their best when they are at their weakest, because pre-contest they diet and dehydrate themselves. The strongest people, weightlifters, look like big ol' farmboys, though they have much less defined muscles. To get more specific information, search bodybuilding workouts or weight training.

The Critical Bench program will help you boost your benchwith the 5x5 technique. 5x5 technique suggests you will do exactly the same fat for 5 representatives of 5 sets. no, bigger muscle does not always mean more strength, because there is such thing as a fatty muscle where it builds up fat and its mostly used for storing fat, and these fatty muscles usually are pretty big, which looks like a big strong muscle, but sometimes they are just fat.

depends on the muscle fibers. example: olympic lifters can lift crazy amounts but in relativity to boxers or other such athletes their strength to size ratio is much less. and in relative comparison cannot throw a punch or move with as much strength. that isnt to say they arent strong as f*ck at lifting weights. old man strength beats size any day.

no, i remember one of my former bf who didnt have much muscle at all, had an arm wrestling contest, that i was sure he would loose because the guy was bigger then him. he won, i was amazed, im not sure were strength comes from, i think it comes from inside you. like that story when a mom picked up a car when her baby was under it

Are you looking to include 50lbs to your bench? What about in 10 weeks? This is what you should get with this easy lockout plan https://tr.im/FLRHu .
The Critical Bench program is so remarkable a substantial level of football instructors across the state follow this sort of teaching for their athletes.
This program is not merely applied to simply help raise the benchpush but different compound pulls also, like the zero and deadlift.
