I want to hear from all the fans who hate cookie cutter tracks on this one...

Atlanta is a mile and a half tri-oval just like all the tracks that people hate. But I never hear any negative feedback about it. SO the question is, does Atlanta qualify as a cookie cutter? - if not, what sets it appart?

I think I laready know the asnwer, but I want to hear from all of you...

No way. Atlanta's been holding races since 1960. The so-called cookie cutter tracks are trying to be like Atlanta.

No.The Atlanta track is larger faster and more abrasive that any of the "cookie cutter" tracks.
Though somepeople think that after the "reversing" of the track it was flipped to be in the configuration of the "cookie cutter" tracks.Personally Charlotte was the first cookie cutter track.

It is the Original Cookie Cutter so to speak and was copy catted by Las Vegas--Kansas-Chicago and so forth!!!! So many Cookie Cutter tracks now that Kentucky Speedway and others cant get a Nascar Race and lucky to get a Busch Race!!!!

It definetly is in terms of the layout, but it has its own characteristics that seprate itself from Charlotte, Texas and Vegas.

I personally miss the old Atlanta layout.

...I consider tracks 1 mile and smaller to be cookie cutters. 1 1/2 mile tracks are good tracks and can be fast a have a lot of G-Forces.
