God comes first in my mind. but my weak human mind wanders.

Sometimes He is my focus, when I ask or answer, and his holy Spirit inspires me to answers wiser than I; BUT sometimes my imperfect "old man" seems to kick in, instinctively, esprcially on questions that disturb my human spirit.

Forgive me Lord. I will try to do better!!!

I gave your question it's 7th star. Good question. Blessings to you all. -- in His love, Michael

That's a good question.
I plead the 5th! He He

No really, I think I have some good things to say
as God has worked tremendously in my life.

However, I don't want to play the "debate game"
as much as I sometimes do - yet I want to learn a lot
and have learned some things. I have used this forum for both fun and serious learning - learning the perspective of others better and even better understanding my own questions! It is a type of learning that is on a unique
level - not like google research or going to church - but
an interaction that produces better interaction with others
outside of cyberspace (in understanding others and myself
more clearly) - even on a different level than journaling!

The worst down side, I admit, is being too addicted
to this thing (I have been too much of a Y!A junkie or
Y!Aholic!). I have also spent too much "down time" at work
answering and asking questions instead of using the
time on some other things I should work on that would
probably be better.

It's true I really don't have enough to do at work usually -
even when I ask for more to do (I just can't sit and do nothing
but answer a phone that maybe rings only 10 times a day) Lately, however, I have been entrusted with more duties and
I am happy about that - I have been waiting for that!
So, maybe it will work out well afterall :0)

Anyway, that is my confession!

Seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened!

Fact is, the honor and love I hold for God, is in my heart always!

No matter what I am doing, I pray that my honor and love, for Him, will always be visable to all. Especially, if I am answering a question in which there is much pain or, sorrow, from the asker. In fact, many times I pray before I answer some questions as I want to write the words the Lord would have me to write!

Therefore, yes, I pray that I sincerly honor God, when I answer or, ask questions.

I try to answer the question as if it was Jesus speaking.
Galatians 5:22-23 tells us, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control..." The fruit of the Holy Spirit are the results of the Holy Spirit taking a role in the life of a Christian. The Bible makes it clear that everyone receives the Holy Spirit the moment he or she believes in Jesus Christ (Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 1:13-14). One of the primary purposes of the Holy Spirit coming into a Christian's life is to change that life. It is the Holy Spirit's job to conform us to the image of Christ, making us more like Him.

Yes , usually , to speak absolute truth in R & S.
There is little chance of best answer. The way is narrow. There are many that claim to believe the word of God continue to tare out pages.

Where is it written that Mary ascended into heaven? It doesn't. But Matthew tell us in Jesus words. Call no man your Father upon the face of the Earth. That is reserved for your Father in heaven. 2nd Timothy 6 tells us the qualification of a priest , that he needs to be married , one that rulith well his own house with his Children under subjection and the it tells us, In the later days some shall depart from the true faith , having there conscience seared with a hot Iron speaking lies in hypocrisy , forbidding to marry and commanding from eating meat that God has given to be received with thanksgiving.

To them , It doesn't matter what the Bible says. they have another authority.

Now I have made enemies by speaking Bible truths. That is only the tip of the iceberg.

Although I stumble in thought from time to time. I try so very hard to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ in all my questions and answers. I just remember if it's not in the bible than it's just an opinion. Great question, I hope that all Christians, take the time to ponder this thought when they are respectfully answering questions in Yahoo as in life.

Have a great day girlie!

I sure do try to and I believe I do as I ask God to guide me in everything I say and do. We all need to be doing that.
Thanks for the reminder. God bless you to overflow....... Anytime we are honoring God we are being blessed, and He is smiling. Praise God...

I try to ask and answer questions with love, compassion, and understanding.
although I do at time say the wrong thing, in the wrong spirit. and most of these I never post, i hit to back button and go to something else.
by writing it out it releases my frustrations. but there is no reason to let others read them.

Hopefully yes, I try to give God the glory by asking spiritual questions and backing up my answers with a bible text.
