As far as I know the 360 already comes with HD compatible cables (Blue,Red and Green- other than the audio) but, first of all on the cable end where it plugs into the xbox you should see a small switch, set it to HD. also make sure that the composite cable (the three colors) are correctly plugged in to the back of your TV. make sure not to confuse the red color with the red audio connector. also make sure you are setting the correct input selection on your TV (what I mean is, make sure that if you're connecting the composites into a specific input and that when you turn your TV on make sure you're selecting the same input- ie. Composite3) another detail is make sure your 360 is working correctly this means NO red lights on.

You have to do 3 things:

- Use the correct cable from the xbox to the TV to carry HD signals
- Tell the TV that the input you have hooked to will be HD
- Tell the XBox to output HD.

On my XBox there is a toggle switch you have to flip. Start with it in SD video, setup the TV for HD, then flip the switch.

ive got an hdtv. for our x360 we had to make sure we had the HD cables (which im PRETTY sure it came with. its been awhile).

but make sure youve got the right inputs goin. right connections. i dont think you should have to buy anything... but your specific tv might (...shouldnt) require it.

try googlin your tv or goin to a best buy or circut city. some sorta store where they sell a lot of big hdtvs (with your specific would be nice). ask one of the workers in that section. (like... magnolia workers @ best buy)
