Start--->Program---> Acessories---> System Tools--->Defrag and nothing comes up. ?? Where has my defrag program gone? ----> Could you advise? Would you help?

You can also do a defrag by right clicking on the icon for the hard drive in My Computer, selecting Properties, and going to the Tools tab. There is a defrag button there.

When you get you programs list come up, go to accessories, when the next list comes up go to system tools, you should fine it there. There is also an excellent free one you could download called JkDefrag.

control panel>admin tools>computer management
try the link to it from there (on left), maybe the link is broken in start menu

I would think that if the file was missing then an error message would be displayed. Have you tried re-starting your PC?
