I'm 14, only 86 lb, and about 5'1 or 5'2...and I don't have my period and I'm practically flat chested? Is that normal? I have hips (very small hips), though. Anything to speed up the process???

I don't look my age, either. Everyone thinks I'm like 12.

OMG OMG OMG! I'm the SAME THING! flat, skinny, short. It's so annoying. Just try to eat as much as you can. I JUST got my period 1 month ago. You'll get it soon. Everybody calls me toothpick legs, anerexic, and say i can use a cheerio as a hula hoop. You just gotta stay strong and confident. That's what i do.

Nothing is wrong with u! U r what most women would love 2 be. But u r experiencing it not them huh. My sister did not start her period until age 15, she was a little skinny, no chest, etc. As soon as she started she grew hips, a booty, and rapidly rose 2 a C cup. Soon she realized how much more comfortable it was before she started. I know u r anxious but be patient, and enjoy it while its here cuz once it starts it will not go back. Dont try 2 hurry or rush it, but let nature take its course. U r fine just the way u r. Forget what people say.

I'm 13 and 5'7" and I weigh a little over 100 lbs and I don't have my period either and I too am flat-chested with no hips. I think we're just late bloomers and to people saying to eat more, well I'm with you I eat more than anyone at my lunch table but I'm the smallest. One day, we're gonna be all curvilicious and guys will get bored with the other girls and then we'll pop and it will be all good. Haha I hoped that boosted your confidence=]

Nothing is going to speed up puberty. Your period will come when it's time :) You need a certain amount of body fat to get your period. Some gymnasts who are really thin don't get their periods for this reason. Try to increase your calorie intake and add some protein shakes to your diet. You can buy really great tasting protein shakes at the health food store (GNC) or any gym. My step sister didn't get her period til she was 18!! She's now a grown woman with a baby boy - you're gonna be fine sweetie. Take care!!

You probably haven't hit puberty yet. You are just a late bloomer. There is nothing wrong with that. Enjoy it while you still have it lol.

You are very underweight for your height. A certain amount of body fat is needed for menstruation. I suggest seeing a doctor to evaluate you.
