She was born in the US and now lives in Canada with us.

We have proof that both her parents are pure-breed rough collies, BUT the things is that her mother was registered with the AKC (American Kennel Club) and her father was registered with the CKC (Continental Kennel Club)

Are there ANY kennel clubs (doesn't matter what) that I can register her with?

Also, we have a male and he is registered with the AKC. It would be perfect if the kennel club I register my girl with also recognizes AKC and approve my boy too.

Both APR and CKC will register both of them as well as the puppies they may have. It really doesn't affect the price when you sell puppies if you use either of these registries as opposed to the AKC. The only thing it affects is the ability to show if you wanted to do that with the AKC.
The APR papers look very similar to the AKC certificates. The CKC ones have some really nice ones with pictures available now if you want to go that route.

The continental kennel club is not a reputable regsitry. They will register a mutt. AKC has 150 some recognized breeds and the CKC has well over 400 if that tells you anything.
Just spay and neuter your dogs and dont worry about registering them. A registered dog does not mean the dog is quality, adheres to the standard of the breed or anything else.
ANYONE with an extremely poor quality of any given breed can breed it to another registered poor quality dog that doesn't adhere to the standard of the breed and make more poor quality and or sickly registered dogs. AKC has no clue what is being bred and they rely on the integrity of the breeder which there are 90 breeders out of a 100 who don't give a shittt about anything other then producing a litter.

You can find a lot of breeders who register with bogus registries like CKC on the AKC suspension list for various things.. Falsifying papers, cruelty, neglect, breaking other AKC rules.
The list of suspended AKC breeders is here:
http://www.barkbytes.com/suspend/suspindx.htm

And to answer your question.. You could only regsiter with the CKC and all it would do is earn you a name of registering your dogs with a registry that is not respected by anyone who knows better.
Back yard breeders and puppy mill people who breed CKC dogs will give this answer a thumbs down because it makes them feel better but it doesn't change the facts!

you cant swap to akc you'll get a akc lp type yet only for showing your pups will be no longer some thing meaning no longer akc or probable ckc ( no longer effective what ckc is ) what type of dogs is it that can make some distinction in getting a regsistration on him of a few type also you get double registers on some kennel golf equipment and make the pups even more suitable useful relies upon what you're searching to do

You can register your dog at ckc. Yes everyone is saying how bad they are and I don't agree with the fact that they register mixed breeds. However, I know alot of people who have ckc dogs and there all great. Everyone also says that ckc is puppy mill dogs. Believe me akc has just as many, puppy millers are going to breed no matter what, and since anyone can buy an akc dog, any puppy miller can have akc puppies.

CKC (Continental Kennel Club ) Is NOT a real registry.it is what is known as a scam registry..absolutely worthless. In other words your dogs father is an unregistered dog.he may or may not be purebred.

There is no way your dog can be registered in any legit club and anything else would be worthless, not worth the money.

No reputable registry (such as the American Kennel Club or the Canadian Kennel Club) will register a dog with a Continental Kennel Club parent.

You can register the dog in Continental Kennel Club, but why would you waste your time and money with it? Continental Kennel Club is a scam registry, it will registered anything, even mutts. Their "registration" isn't worth the paper it's printed on.

Well, you cannot register the girl with the Canadian Kennel Club or the AKC...since the Cont. Kennel Club is a scam registry.
The male you could register with the Canadian KC with proper paper work.

You can register them both with a scam registry if you want. They really don't care if it is purebred or registered with any registry already.

if you have the AKC papers they can all be CKC registered. AKC will not recognize CKC paper.
CKC you can't show.
Some will say it's a scam registry.
AKC registers anything as well all the petshops in my area which everyone will say are from puppy mills sell nothing but AKC registered dogs and yes they are pupy mill pups.
AKC is just out for the money they don't care less about the dog just the money

There is no reputable registry you can register your dog with. The Continental KC is a sham registry, and they'll register anything. It's not worth spending the money on that one.
