you could come to my house...my wife always cooks rice that way. Seriously, I found this for you:
White Sticky Rice (kao niow): Also known as "glutinous" rice or "sweet" rice, this starchy grain is steamed dry after prolonged soaking to yield a sticky, chewy texture. Steamed sticky rice is the staple food of northern and northeastern Thailand, where it replaces the regular steamed rice of the central region. Use medium- to long-grain glutinous rice and not the round short-grain variety for Thai-style meals.

Soak the opaque white grains in plenty of water for four hours or more. The grains will absorb water and grow in size. Then drain and steam without any water for about half an hour. For less than two cups of rice, steam in a dry dish on the rack of a stacked steamer; for more than two cups, use the special sticky rice steamer available from Southeast Asian markets – a woven, hat-like bamboo basket that fits over a pot with a collar shaped somewhat like a spittoon.

Use extra fancy calrose rice. I get mine at walmart in the oriental section. When you want to get it sticky start with 1 cup of rice to one cup of water. After all the water is gone after steaming it in a rice cooker or microwave or on the stove, if its still dry just add a little more water and let it steam/boil/radiate until the rice is sticky and clumped enough to your staisfaction =D

I really reccommend cooking it in a rice cooker or the the stove more than the microwave. Microwave food sucks >.>

Oh yeah, and a little salt wouldnt hurt to help it stick together.

1. saok the rice befor you cook it, say 1/2 hr, before cooking time.
2. eat it immediately when it is cook.
OR.
3. Add a little rolled oats to the rice after it has started boiling.
4. Add a little glutinous rice to your normal rice.
Does any of the above ring a bell?
You did not state how much rice you're going to cook ,so I didn't tell you the exact amount to use . So you've to do it by trial or error.

more water will give you sticker rice. i.e. if you are cooking 1 cup of dry rice, and recipe calls for 2 cups of water, I would increase water to 2 1/4 cups for more tender rice.

have it on longer and don't put water in it...most people put some water in it to separate the rice but if u add none then they'll be stuck together...just like u want it

add more water that is called for and over cook it by about twice the normal amount of time. Microwave will help but it is easier on the stove.
