okay so, your in a room and theres two doors one leads to death and the other leads to freedom you dont know which is which. there is a robot in front of each door one always lies and one always tells the truth you dont know which is which. you can ask one question to one of the robots what question do you ask to find out what door to leave through?

Which door would the other Robot tell me is the door to freedom?
If you ask the lying robot he'll tell you that the other robot will tell you the death door.
If you ask the truth robot he'll tell you the other robot will tell you the death door also.
This way you don't have to know who is the lying robot, they'll both say the death door, take the other one.

If its the lying robot and the freedom door he would tell you it the death door, but he has to lie about what he would answer, so he'll say it's the freedom door.
If its the lying robot and the death door, he would tell you it's the freedom door, but he has to lie about his answer and say he would tell you it the death door.
If it's the truth robot and the freedom door he would tell you so and tell the truth about his answer.
if it's the truth robot and the death door he would say it's the death door and tell you so.
so if it's the freedom door, both robots will tell you that they would say it's the freedom door.
by having a double inquiry in the question you're taking advantage of the 'two negatives make a positive'.
