I was in your exact same situation a month ago. My cat just had the one kitten - and no more.
I was worried there were others stuck or something - I didn't know. I'd never been around a cat having babies and I had heard they usually at least have 2 to 4.
But, yeah. She just had the one.
Feel her tummy. Press, not too hard, but enough to feel if it's just skin and whatnot. You'll feel a kitten if it's there.
If she's acting normal, just lying there licking her kitten, etc... she's fine. Get worried if she begins to make noises or leaves the kitten and moves around frantically... if she starts acting in any way other than restful and relaxed, call a vet.
Sometimes it can take up to a day for all the babies to be born - but if she doesn't have any others, don't fret.
It happens and my little one month old kitten is living, playful proof!

Every cat's labor is different I've seen a cat have 4 kittens within an hour while another cat had a total of 7 kittens over a 15 hour time span. Just let her be keep checking on her to make sure everything seems fine you'll likely see another kitten before long.

Relax. Give your cat a chance to rest. The first kitten may have worn her out. Sometimes there is only one kitten in the litter. I would not be overly concerned until after 4 hours have passed. You should have had your cat spayed.

Although it is strange it's not unheard of.....there's usually 15 to 30 minute's between the birth of kitten's. So, just be thankful that you only have one kitten to deal with and when the kitten is weaned and momma's milk dries up have momma spayed. If your concerned about momma you could call your vet and ask if they can see her. They would be able to tell you if there's a kitten or afterbirth left in her. Good Luck

My cat took about 4 hours between her first and second. Dont panic. so long as she is not in heavy labor. she should not have a heavy labor ( continuously pushing for more than an hour. if longer she is in real trouble! If she is calm purring and attentive to cleaning her self and kitten and later eats and drinks she could only have one. Watch her for puss in her discarge.make sure she stays eating (her and the kitten nursing.) for the next days. any fever and lack of appatite or discharege is bad.

Most cats have three or four kittens per litter but it's quite possible to have only one kitten. If the mother does not appear to be in distress or otherwise showing signs of giving birth again, then it's probably all she will have.

Please take her (and the new kitten) to the vet. It's possible that she's having just one, but it is more likely that she's having some problems. Sometimes the kittens are breach or get stuck. Mama cat (and the other kittens) could die if that's the case.

Strong contractions for more than 60 minutes without production of a kitten indicates she needs help and should see the vet right away! She'll probably be okay, but you should see a vet just in case.

My cat had only one kitten last month. It happens sometimes, I don't think it is anything to worry about.

A litter with one kitten is unusual and I would suggest you take them both to the vet immediately.
