That may be your belief, but as you posted this on Yahoo!Answers, I am guessing you are searching for either a reason to think otherwise or you just want to cause a debate. Regardless, although many have already stated this, the 6th Commandment states that "Thou shall not kill" and throughout the Bible, Jesus teaches the people to be kind, giving, and unselfish.
Many people use the abortion as a convenient quick-fix, not all are low income, unable to care for the child or children, nor are there no other options out there for those children. It is a selfish action to take, and that is not something that God or Jesus teaches.
I understand if carrying the child to full term or birthing the child will kill the mother and child, or other extenuating circumstances, but because it was an 'accident' does not count in my book. If you aren't ready to possibly be a parent if the contraceptives don't work for you, or if you were just plain stupid and didn't use protection and know you don't want a child, then (A)you shouldn't be having sex if that was the case, and (B)that is not okay, and not what is in the spirit of Christ. That is why most Christians don't believe in abortions.

The anti abortion movement uses religious arguments to control women and try to get them back behind the kitchen sink, barefoot and permanently pregnant.
In Britain doctors have agreed that a foetus can't survive outside the womb until 28 weeks gestation.
If you don't believe, then there's no problem.

With so much sin going on in the world today unchecked, it doesn't surprise me a little bit that we can legally accept murder (and murder it is) of defenceless, weak little people.
Don't even try to tell me about an aborted person being just a collection of cells (that is a myth supported by the fairy story of evolution).
Jesus did not need to say don't have an abortion because God had already laid out the ten commandments:
Exodus ch20 v13 " Thou shalt not kill"

The answer depends on if you are Christian or an atheist.
If you believe in Christ and the trinity... then you can make the leap that since one of the 10 commandments was "Thou shalt not murder" - Exodus 20:13
Why makes you believe that Jesus would deviate from what God has already said?
"I and my Father are one." - John 10:24-30
The problem comes in that people want to find ways to rationalize and twist things to fit their religion.
If you are religious, the bottom line is this: Do you want to take that chance and have to explain to God why you did what you did?
If you are not religious, then why do you care what Jesus said?
How about a little self control and use of things to not get into that place to begin with? Who says you only have to use ONE form of BC? (And there too lies an issue in if your faith condones BC)

Actually the devil thought up abortion. Abortion is so horrible that Jesus didn't mention it because He is too holy to speak the words. The bible says it is shameful to even mention evil things.

Those who were aborted did not get to hear him say that either. In fact, they did not have any say in the matter at all. That's why we need the "man made up thing" for someone to speak for them.

The Bible teaches that killing is a sin. Having an abortion is taking a life. To do this is contradictory to God's word. In fact, if you read Matthew 5:21 in the Bible, you will hear these words from Jesus Himself.

God said don't kill. He also condemned human sacrifices. I believe that a mother having her baby ripped from her body may be like in Jeremiah 35:35 when Judah offered their daughters to Moleck through fire and the Bible records its as never entering the mind of God that they would do this abomination. Abortion may be so abominal and against nature that it never entered God's mind.

Arh, but Suzie, I think that the Bible is only a man made thing...
however, to answer your question, using just the Bible to answer it..
According to Exodus, then Abortion is not murder. A fetus is not considered a human life.
If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life. -- Exodus 21:22-23
The Bible places no value on fetuses or infants less than one month old.
And if it be from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation shall be three shekels of silver. -- Leviticus 27:6
Fetuses and infants less than one month old are not considered persons.
Number the children of Levi after the house of their fathers, by their families: every male from a month old and upward shalt thou number them. And Moses numbered them according to the word of the LORD. -- Numbers 3:15-16
How can abortion be against the Lord, for God sometimes causes abortions by cursing unfaithful wives.
The priest shall say unto the woman, The LORD make thee a curse and an oath among thy people, when the LORD doth make thy thigh to rot, and thy belly to swell. And this water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, to make thy belly to swell, and thy thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen, amen. ...
And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people. And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed. -- Numbers 5:21-21, 27-28
Jesus liked the company of men, so kept quiet about abortion!
