You could just wait 'til the last minute and accept him, and you're in for a far lower price - right?

truth is I have actually thought of this.
until I considered a few thing.
would I want to be any different than I am?
maybe a better person.
would I want to do anything that I can't do now?
I cannot think of a thing.
and then there are the benefits
I no longer have the Temper that I used to have, and I like that.
I no longer get sick,
since I learned that Jesus was beaten for my healing I have not been sick since 1979.
It was an every year thing before that.
I have more empathy for other people, and I like that also.
perhaps you could tell me what I am missing, by not being a Christian.
I wasn't one for years and I cannot remember anything that I miss.
so would you like me any better if I wasn't a Christian?

Paul did not reject the actual international. He did not meet Jesus in man or woman in the previous he died, yet he did meet Jesus after his resurrection, it truly is why it appears that evidently to you that he 'renounced any understand-how of Jesus by human sources'. He change into in simple terms being trustworthy about how he met him. As for issues considered and unseen, Paul isn't rejected this existence (he has a lot to assert about it), yet he's refuting the concept this existence is all there is. This existence must be considered contained in the gentle of our eternal destiny, and that is even as issues are going to be suitable and achieved (fairly than in this existence). yet Paul rejected any techniques that the actual international did not matter. His writings are finished of his arguments adverse to that concept. So for sure Paul ought to have prevalent the walking, speaking, authentic existence Jesus. it really is the Jesus he preached.

NO. Never play around with salvation; you nor I am promised a tomorrow. Actually waiting til the last minute shows that it is not Jesus that we want but only having our own way; we don't wan t to submit to His will and commands until we absolutely feel we have no other choice. We cannot be saved that way. The commandment is that we are to love God with all of our heart, mind, soul, body, and spirit; we cannot do that if we are waiting til the last minute to be saved.

There is salvation, but there is also rewards in Heaven. Sure if you accept Jesus at the last minute you'll go to Heaven. But why not get to know God now before you get to Heaven. It's about relationship. Also none of us know when we are going to meet God. You don't know if the next minute, hour, day, month, year, etc will be the last. Accept Him now while you can and live the abundant life He offers.

If you are bad all your life, and then you accept Jesus at the very last second, once you get up there with St. Peter at the box office gates, there is a "GET IN FREE" card waiting for you with a little god smiley face on it.

Zilla, I believe that may be the most brilliant question ever asked on R&S... Or maybe I've just been gone for too long... *shrug* The scenarios these Christians are proposing are much less likely than the easily accessible ones.

Nope. Not even close.
Accepting the covenant of the New Testament for the salvation of the eternal soul thru Jesus, Son of the one true God, EARLIER in life (as opposed to later) provides more time to rejoice in the love and mercy of God...and more time to learn...and pray...and study...and join in fellowship with other faithful.
I prefer earlier than later.

That's always been a thought of mine since I'm such a naughty spy. I'd hear all these stories of people who had lived really horrible lives making death-bed acceptances and wonder why I was bothering to be good. (((((Zilla)))))
