Stay away from him. Do not call, talk to, or be around him. FOR ANY REASON. Out of sight, out of mind. If you keep seeing him, it will just drag it out longer. Rarely do people get back together and have it work out. Believe me, I'm 26 years old and have had a lot of experience with this. I'm married now, but I had probably 8 or 9 serious relationships before this (in between the flings) and I've tried many ways to do it and that one works the best. Oh, also, whenever you start to think about him, think about something else. You need to act like it never happened in the first place. Finding someone else usually works too, because you find someone to take your mind off off the other person. Be careful though, you don't want to just use the new person. Make sure you actually like the new guy.

Oh Andrea,
It must be difficult, especially for the first few days or months......... well depending on how much you were or are in love with him.
Assess the situation, was he the best for you? If yes, then try talking to him about trying again.
Be honest to yourself, if he was no good, then just concentrate on all the bad things you are leaving behind you about him. get some interests, don't play love songs that would remind you of him. For a start, make yourself look really pretty and very soon, you will meet s'one else. But make yourself happy first and don't fall in love out of rebound. All the best sweetie.

Time will heal your broken heart, so just take it a day at a time. Don't listen to sad songs, as it will be too painful for you. Trust me, you will never be able to erase him from your thoughts, but in time, when you think of him, it won't be quite as painful. For what it's worth, things happen for a reason. Hopefully, it happened because a new guy will walk into your life soon. In the meantime, keep yourself busy & surround yourself with family & friends. Don't sit home, if you can get out & have fun. (he's not) Keep your chin up & you'll be okay. Don't call him or have any contact with you. That may be what he wants you to do, but you can begin to heal if you allow him to still be in your life.

Well, i'd definitely go and hang out with friends and have a good time. That always seems to put me in a good mood. Listening to music helps a lot too but make sure the music is fun, upbeat, and something that you like to listen to. No depressing country songs, lol. I know it must be hard, but just go out and live life. He's only one guy and there's plenty more great people out there for you to meet. Hope this helps. =)

Well you broke up with him but you still like him. Interesting. Now you want tips, is that like money as in tips for the waitress? What are the No's and Yes's about to him. An old song is Hit the road jack but if his name isn't Jack thay may not work. You can try and art eraser and see if that helps but seems to me that if you still like him then say YES to him and go for it. Good Luck!

when stuff like this happens it is going to be a sad time no matter how strong you are, just think of some of the good times you had together and try to think about wanting him back, just concentrate on finding someone else who you will be happy with.. im sorry to hear this but i hope i helped out a bit =]

Don't try to rush getting over him! Feel EVERYTHING and remember it! It is totally natural for you to feel the way you are feeling. You have a right to cry ,scream, and punch your pillow! then take a deep breath and realize that tomorrow is the first day of the rest of your life! and when one door closes another one opens! If you could convince yourself to meet one nice single guy a month! you don't even have to date any of them but just to meet them will help you to discover that you deserve so much more than you were getting. life is too short to keep loving someone who doesn't feel the same . there is someone out there right now who is thrilled that you are single again and just waiting to make his move !

Do you have a best friend who is completely understanding? If so, call her/him up or chill with them and just vent. Talk about him until your face turns blue. You'll cry and cry and probably cry some more, but little will you know.. you're slowly getting over him. If that doesn't help... think about all the f*cked up things he has done.. uh, like falling for your friend. Loser.

Love means you respect him for whatever choices he make. You can explain why he should be cautious to your girl friend and that you really like him.
Tell him about your liking to him. If you have done all that is supposed to be done, and he is still happy to be with your friend, just let him go. Love is selfless and kind.
You are angry and jealous, this is normal but you should realish that such thoughts are selfish.
