That's the question everyone wants to know. But we are here to fellowship with and worship our creator. Our life here is a gift what we do with it is up to us. I know i'll get thumbs down, but that's alright

We must become here what we are to be there. We exist for love. To love, and to be loved. To love God and our neighbors. And because of sin, living a life of love is a difficult thing; though not impossible. Difficult because we pay more attention to others sins rather than our own. Which makes us tend to end up in unforgiveness. Then the unforgiveness causes a disconnect between us and God. If we won't forgive others sins, God won't forgive ours.
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have eternal life."

Only you can answer that for yourself. You don't know what awaits you in the afterlife. Perhaps not having a body will be missed in some ways. Perhaps death is the end of our existence.

If you think about it, we were designed so that we would live forever here on this beautiful earth that God created, but man messed it up when he disobeyed God by eating of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil because God told them that in the day they would eat of it, they would surely die. Ever since then, we have been living in sin and these bodies that we possess would have to one day go back to the dust because of this disobedience. One thing to know is that Jesus came and paid the price for our sins once and for all and whoever accepts that fact and live the way that He would have us live, there is a spot in heaven for all of us, but if we don't accept this fact, we will one day spend eternity in hell.

You might as well. Whatever does or not not come after,it's definitely forever. Make the most of the life you have while you have it.

Mammals' role on the Biosphere is to add methane to the atmosphere, and to fertilize fields with our dung.....

That's the only reasonable reason for being alive....

That's a pretty sharp and sticky question. Just put a bandage on it and go on even if you do find it pointless now and them.

To see if you're worthy of God's afterlife.

Your assumption is wrong. Naturally we are not eternal beings. This life we live is a dying life, going into nonexistence. It is therefore necessary to obtain eternal life by faith in the One who can freely give it to you, Christ Jesus. And that's the point of living.
