He's a new friend. I hardly know him. He keeps offering to do stuff for me, like drive an hour to help me move. So he's asked to hang out (not date) but I refused 2x. Is that enough? Does he get the idea that I don't think of him in that way?

Yes it is enough. Now all you need to do is let him know that you don' t want a relationship nor his friendship and let that be just that do not give him the wrong impression because he could be one of those guys who you can't shake off of you. Always popping up out of the blue out of no where offering his assistance so he could get close to you so just be careful because it seems like he can't understand english the you don't want him in your life in no type of way.

It should be, but if he asks a third time then he is one of those guys that will keep asking. If you give him a firm response about how you are not attracted to him he should stop.

Sometimes you have to be blunt with guys. Girls are more likely to get clues like that but guys are clueless. So next time be direct, not mean just direct.

it depends on how you rejected him. If you said no then yes. But if your like all the girls i know and rejected him by saying your busy. then he might think that your busy and will not be busy the next day.

probably not. he could just think you are busy. either just tell him, or keep doing what you are doing, and eventually he will get the message.
