I don't see any event in the next 10,000 years or so that is an immenant danger to completely whipe out the human race. What will happen however, is the collapse of many modern civilizations. This could be caused by many different events. We actually live in a very stable time to what will be seen in the future. Within the next 100-500 years many coastal cities will begin to become flooded, this is irreversible with the damage we have already done, when enough green house gases are trapped in the atmosphere we will undoubtedly go into another ice age, one that modern civilization has not seen.
Many will die, the population will not continue to rise for very long, we will lose a large percentage of it in the next 1,000 years, or 2,000 for sure, but unless we get struck by a rare cosmic event the species will survive.

A meteor will. The dust in the atmosphere will prevent the sunshine from reaching the earth's surface and every living thing will die.. Don't worry, it will take millions years for this to occur. Humanity may not survive such a catastrophe.neither that caused by the eventual extinguishing of the sun.

wars/the human race because the war is unessicary and is killing people at a fast rate faster than can be reproduced.human race because of global warming that has alot to do with so called prophicies being fuffilled.if someone says something and you want to belive it you will blame it on that.but i think it will be while before such doom accures i do think a metior is possible if someone cant divert it because we have no control such things so thats a possibility.

Probably our destruction of the natural world, which we for some reason think we aren't apart of. We're already destroying the earth's biodiversity - pushing species into extinction at an exponential rate - which will only endager our species.

We'll be our own downfall. You don't see hamsters building weapons of mass destruction like nuclear bombs and dogs don't go around shooting each other for no reason. Yep, humans are the only idiots that carry on that way and one day all of the other animals will have the planet to themselves after we wipe out ourselves.
