She could be changing, but if she does, it'll probably take a while, possibly years. Don't worry too much about it. That's out of your control.
When I was fourteen, a girl broke my heart. I didn't want to forgive, but as a Christian I had no other option. I held on to the grudge for the four most miserable days of my life and finally yelled up at God that I would forgive her. It took about six months all total to fully forgive her, but once I did, God (Jesus Christ) showed me through that process that He really did love me, and it wasn't just something that my parents had taught me since I was young. It was really true. I'll never forget that experience. I didn't get the girl, and you may not get the girl either, but if you allow the pain to bring you closer to God, it's more than worth whatever suffering happens to you.
By the way, if you're not a Christian, this is what we believe. You've broken the Ten Commandments (you've lied, stolen, lusted [adultery in the heart], hated [murder in the heart], dishonored your parents, taken the Lord's name in vain, at least one of these things you've surely done) and you have to pay for it. However, since God didn't want you to pay, He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross in your place. He paid the penalty for you. Now if you'll confess your sins, repent (turn away from your sinful ways), and trust Christ for your salvation, justice has been served and you can go free. God will credit your sins to Jesus Christ's account, which has already been paid in full. Good luck and God bless.

You said she is kinda shallow!!??
Sounds like a huge warning sign to me!
Think with the big brain-not the little one,....
if she has a character trait that you cannot really accept just as she is, then walk away! From what I read in your statement, it sounds like you already have it all figured out and now you're hoping that somebody wil tell you that you are wrong, and that she will change and start liking normal guys as opposed to the hot ones.

I would say its pretty much impossible to change a girl's mind.
Her opening up isn't really a sign that she wants to be more than friends. Personally, I would tell any stranger that asked my life story.
Too bad she's so superficial and only likes hotties. I'd try to find a girl who likes you for you, and doesn't need to be convinced. If you somehow coninvce this girl to like you, you'll always be convincing her that you're good enough. I'm sure there's lots of girls at school who want to date a guy with all your skills. :)

ok dude, i have right there in your position, and i know that you feel great about her opening, i love it to, when girls tell me secrets and stuff about like there belifs its sweet a nd you feel like you to are bonding
it just takes time, im about 200 lbs and i have glasses and big bushy brown hair, but believe me when i say i dated the hottest, most popular, blond cheerleader, it just takes time, there are girls out that still have a thing for nice guys, nice guys can still be victorious!
and if she never does notice how decent you are and rejects then she is supid for not looking deeper,
hope it all works out!

Just be friendly to her and be friends. See what the future brings. You wont be able to change her mind, the only one who can do that is herself. If she will only go out with guys for their looks, shes not for you.

You should NEVER change a girl's mind until you finish medical school, serve you internship, and become a full fledged brain surgeon

careful...you might just be entering into the 'friend zone'...when you guys are talking or something just ask her if she'd like to grab a bite to eat...or hang out at the mall or something...but dont put a lot of pressure on her...and if she says no, then thats cool too...still be her friend...would you rather have her in your life even if shes not yours or not in your life at all?

I say its a worthy sign that she trusts you and wants you to be her friend - ONLY. If you can handle that much, that's fine. If you can't be her "sounding board" maybe you'd better find another girl worthy of your affections?!

Leave her alone and her mind will change. They usually do over time even if there is no outside interference.
