Nope, you dont even need a telephone line. The Broadband / TV comes through the same cable and is then wired off through a junction box.

No I dont have a phone line ,, A Virgin cable provides TV, Phone and Broadband,,, B/Band terminates in a modem which can be wired or in my case use a router for wireless connection .

no, if your in a virgin area you have to have there line, but if your not in a virgin area you can use your bt line to get the services.

It's why I went with them, primarily.
I think they're trying to bundle their phone package with whatever else you want now, but that's through the cable too, from what i gather.

No cable is cable underground. BT is cable useing telegraph poles.
