I mean, I've seen some questions on here that are pretty funny, and could be funny with anyone with a decent sense of humor...but they don't, and usually say, "When you are before God on Judgement Day," blah blah blah....Sure, people who joke about God (not attacking, but just asking a silly question) are not usually trying to get people mad, just to get a laugh. What's so bad with that? Why ruin it? What would you do if someone would make fun of atheists? Atheists would usually laugh if it was done with good taste....but thesits (namely Christians in most cases that I know) cannot take an innocent joke on either their religion or God...why is that? Where'd the sense of humor go? Wouldn't your God WANT you guys to be able to laugh?

Eh...to the first person- Most of the time we're not. I'm usually not at least. I can't answer for everyone else. I'm not the head of state for them or anything...most are just being critical, and people usually can't take a criticism...

Honestly (and I say this being a Christian myself) do Christians ever really think about how ridiculous the notion of virgin births, resurrection from the dead, talking donkeys, burning bushes, chariots of fire, etc... sounds when looked at objectively?

Anyone who cannot see the ridiculousness in their own belief structure is just insecure. Not, mind you, that they don't believe it wholeheartedly, but often they feel that they need to defend it tooth-and-nail or they are not being good followers.

Have some fun, people!

Don't let it get to you, that sometime people of strong conviction, choose to use an obviously humorous question, to try to help people spiritually, by using it to make a point. Some people are very dedicated to a moral purpose.

I heard this one today...

A Catholic priest, on a mission to convert as many as he can to Christianity, meets an Eskimo, and explains Christ to him.

Eskimo: "If I did not know about God and sin, would I go to hell?"

Priest: "No, not if you did not know."

Eskimo: "Then why the hell did you tell me?"
