I am sorry to inform you that If the copy of elements you have was not a borrowed copy you would have the Serial Key that came with the software packaging. This was done so that anyone purchasing there software have the Key included to unlock the software.
Pirated software has cost many of the manufactures Billions of dollars, this is the reason this was added to put a stop to software theft.
It may very well be the case that you simply misplaced the packaging that had the Key Code on it.
The thing that is really odd is if you watch these forums you see that hundreds seem to have misplaced there key code, which leaves most folks to think that something other than misplacing there key code is at work here.
