I just want some definition in the abs. I'm already pretty toned but not in an unhealthy way.

definition comes from a decrease in body fat. a lot of female vegans do not get enough fats in their diet which causes a decrease in testosterone production. no less than 20% of the daily calories should be derived from healthy fats, too low of a fat intake can cause test levels to decrease 30-40% causing a decrease in the metabolic rate and over time a loss of muscle mass.

if you already have low body fat, which for a woman would be around 20% or less than you need to increase the size of the abs by using resistance.

Definately. Ample protein is available in a vegetarian diet. Even a vegan diet.
The trick is the resistance training required. Core work is a bit of a buzz word right now, so something like pilates is probably available near you.
An alternate is weights, and targeted resistance training.
Cardio to burn any excess fat.

Unfortunately not. The type of protein that you get from plants is not sufficient to promote noticeable muscle growth. If you're really concerned about your health then you should try eating fish.

Only if eat a lot of TOFU. Or Tofu with everything. Tofu has a lot of protein. You'll notice most vegetarian imitation stuff is made from tofu and they have tons of protein. Hope I helped.

No, there's no protein to build muscles with in veggies. That's why most of you guys look all frail and fragile. Want muscles, eat meat, or at least get a protein supplement.

If you eat big, strapping vegetarians, then you may bulk up a bit. But avoiding eating little, scrawny vegetarians.
