over the past 6-8mo. I've lost at least 35lbs. of fat and picked up around 20 of muscle. I really need to loose the last 10 pounds of fat on me to show the bottom of my six and get some more deffinition. I still diet very well, but I can't get these pounds off!!! someone please give me some suggestions.

- I circuit train for 1.5 hrs. before running 5mi. every other day
- I fell behind a little on my diet lately, but overall I'd say I eat more food than average and it's all good calories.

congratulations on what you've done!

your body has gotten to used to your routine. by adding calories to your diet, you'll bring it out of the starvation mode.

you really need to shake things up. add about 500 calories to your diet for a couple of weeks. stop doing your circuit training and let your body rest. just go for walks, riding bike.... what ever. then in a week start doing a completely different workout.

5 minutes on cardio machine
20 reps of weights - whole body
then 20 minutes cardio

best wishes

For two weeks try low carb, high fat / high protein. Those last 10 pounds might be water retention and if so calorie retriction won't work but cutting carbs will. Try no more than 20 grams of carbs for the next 2 weeks and don't worry too much about calories.

Drop your daily caloric intake by about 500 calories since you're currently at maintenance level.

If you're only working out 3-4 days a week, try spreading it out to 5 or 6. Since you're working out for 2.5 hours, you're probably cutting into your muscle mass which hurts your metabolism. Shorten your workouts to 1-1.5 hours, and do more of them.

If it's lost pounds your after, and not gaining muscle, you should do only cardio for a couple of weeks. Cut back on carbs... I recommend two pieces of bread for breakfast, an apple for lunch, and fish for dinner. It sounds extreme, but I know it works. Wrestlers at my high school do this sometimes, and it's not unhealthy.

Special K diet, and you loose 10 Ibs. in two weeks. Replace two meals with their cereal and have their snacks inbetween. Diet behind box. Good Luck.

Eat a lot of Post Raisin Bran, prunes, vegetables and food that cleans you out. The longer waste stays in your system, the more time there is for your body to absorb fat out of it!
