ok here what happened, i was watching the simpsons yesterday around 5:00 pm and out of nowhere my tv screen turned off and the little red light is blicking and making wierd noises but you can not see the screen or anything. and i tryed plugging it out and back in and its in very good condition so what happened?

Something shorted out and is in shut down mode
Take it to a Phillips authorized servicer if you can find one-or any reliable tv shop.
Ask what they will charge for checking it and what they think the total charge might be.

Sorry to say but it sounds like your screen burned out- meaning that althought your TV is trying to work, the screen is no longer working....
better off either replacing the TV or calling in the repairmen and seeing if they have replacement parts
