A bit of the socket on some TV's and other equiptment have a little piece of plastic cutting in on the straight side, which allow normal scart sockets to fit, but not these adapters.

We just use the one cable adapter from our ps2 with the ps3 when we were testing the system on the old old sets. See if you can get an old adator cable from a ps2.

I live in Europe and use regular SCART adapter. I just plugged in cable provided with PS3 and everything is OK. My PS3 is NTSC U/C.

i have the same problem with my parents TV too but we have trouble plugging in our satellite our tv came from Dubai is your tv foreign????
