I had this really really bad nightmare. I was at some guy's house (in the dream) and when I walked into the livingroom, I saw this little girl (she was about 4 years old) in a cage. It was made out of plexi-glass, and she was locked it. She looked so innocent. I asked why she was in there, and the guy said, "She's a monster! You musn't let her out. She threw a girl her age down the stairs. She chokes people. She's a demon!" Anyway, the guy and I start talking, and I keep looking at this girl. She kept looking at me like she was sad, and I went over to the cage...but then I saw something in her eyes that I didn't like, and I said, "I'm not EVER letting you out!" So she gets mad, and she starts making this really scary face...and then she starts kicking the door of the cage. She somehow gets out, and she starts coming towards me! I grab her by the neck, and pin her on the floor, and I start choking her. She looks at me and says,
"You will never get away from me! I will take over your children! You can't run away from me!"

Anyway, it was at this point that I woke myself up by screaming. I started crying, and I felt something in the room...I was frozen with fear.

you were looking at your own ID. Suggest that if you fear a repeat, invite a "hero" into your dreams before you go to sleep, anyone you view as a hero, just mentally invite this persona into your dreams, you will like the results.

That would frighten me too. Our minds are complex we remember things and often they come out while we are asleep. Maybe you watched a film or remembered a conversation. I wish I could help you all I can say is I have always been told to reverse a bad dream. When I used to have them I just used to think of my family say their names over and over until I eventually went back to sleep. I hope this helps a little.

could the child in your dream represent some aspect of your own childhood..?
do you have fears of becoming your mother?
If you find no relation to your own experiences ,
it is possible you encountered a negative spirit..or even maybe your own...
as in most dream interpretation, only the dreamer knows what the dream really is about,in other words, only you can relate the dream symbol with your own feelings about a person, place or thing..
i do suggest prayer or smudge before you sleep if the dream reoccurs or you continue to dream about demons..
keep fighting them!

I'm a Christian so i would say that you should rebuke that dream in the name of Jesus.
I would think that it was only the devil trying to get at you.
I had a really horrible dream once.
I was older, married, and pregnant and some guy came and pulled a plug on my belly and tried to kill my kids.
I woke up crying.
I told my parents about it and they told me that it was only the devil trying to kill what God is about to birth in me.
So maybe if you believe in him, you should try praying to God and asking him to reveal it to you.

Well relax. I've had wierder dreams than that! I've dreamt that I was murdered by my brother, that my sister was murdered by my other sister, and that I murdered my twin & then commited suicide. Every time I woke up crying(As in, I was crying in my sleep), and trust me, when you wake up crying you go though your entire day depressed and feeling lost with yourself.
